Terms of Service

1. Overview

FaceMirror provides an internal visual similarity search tool that allows platforms to compare and retrieve visually similar faces within their own datasets. FaceMirror does not identify individuals, verify identity, or perform public or external database searches.

2. Acceptable Use

By using FaceMirror, you agree not to use the service for:

FaceMirror is intended strictly for internal dataset similarity search.

3. Data Usage

FaceMirror processes uploaded images to generate vector embeddings used for visual similarity search. Uploaded images are intended to be temporary and may be deleted after indexing while embeddings and lightweight metadata are retained for search functionality.

FaceMirror does not claim ownership of client content. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the rights and permissions necessary to process all uploaded images and associated data.

4. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and source of the images, URLs, records, and metadata they provide to FaceMirror. FaceMirror is not responsible for verifying whether a client has permission to process submitted content.

5. Service Availability

FaceMirror is provided on a best-effort basis. The service may experience downtime, maintenance interruptions, or infrastructure limitations. FaceMirror does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of Liability

FaceMirror is not responsible for inaccuracies in similarity results, misuse of the service, or any indirect or consequential damages. Use of the service is at your own risk.

7. Account & Access

Access to FaceMirror may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time due to misuse, excessive load, or violation of these terms.

8. Modifications

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
